6 cups Rice Chex Mix 1/4 cup butter 1/3 cup graduated sugar 1 1/2 teaspoons water 2 teaspoons vanilla 1/4 cup powdered sugar 1 oz white baking chocolate 1 tsp edible sugar or colored sprinkles
In a large microwaveable bowl, measure 6 cups cereal. Set aside.
Line a cookie sheet with wax paper or foil.
Melt butter in a sauce pan (or microwave uncovered on High for 30 seconds until melted), add sugar and water. Stir until smooth. Add vanilla and stir.
Pour the butter mixture over cereal. Stir until evenly coated.
Microwave the cereal mixture uncovered for 4 minutes, stirring every minute, until glazed. (Make sure to stir or pieces will overcook!)
Carefully (the bowl will be hot!) spread on a cookie sheet.
Melt bakers chocolate. Drizzle on cereal. Add sprinkles! Let cool before serving.
